Counselling by the Department for Disabled and Chronically Ill Students (RBCS)
The Department for Disabled and Chronically Ill Students represents the interests of disabled and chronically ill students in the AStA of the University of Hamburg.
We offer counselling at eye level, as the counsellors are students with a disability or chronic illness themselves.
We also organise regular information meetings where students can not only pass on information but also exchange ideas.
We offer counselling on the following topics, among others:
- Study counselling for disabled and chronically ill students
- Accessibility in everyday university life
- Compensation for disadvantages (e.g. extension of examination times, substitute achievements)
- Hardship applications
- Study funding
- Severely disabled pass
- Referral to important contact persons/self-help groups
