Information
The cultural course programme, including the socially critical tutorials, is a varied programme. You can learn and acquire just about anything.....and if you can think of something that you can't do here, why not offer it yourself!
We see ourselves as a platform where culture from the fields of art, theatre, music, further education, languages, dance and relaxation can be exchanged and developed.
And as a platform that enables socially critical debate and provides a framework. Critical content, which all too often falls by the wayside in a university that is trimmed to its educational function for the labour market, should be given space here: criticism of capitalism, feminism, cultural or scientific criticism, state theory, critical theory - and whatever else is important to you.
The cultural courses and tutorials are self-organised seminars in which students and non-students come together to learn from each other instead of collecting credit points and a culture of competition. The courses are offered throughout the semester.
The courses are offered both by professionally trained experts and by students who have a special skill or a desire to discuss things together. Almost anything is possible.
Would you like to get together with others to make music, perform theatre, dance or discuss social criticism? Then the cultural courses and tutorials are an opportunity to pursue this interest together with others, to look beyond the confines of academic teaching and perhaps also to make new contacts!
