Information
The cultural course program, including the socially critical tutorials, is a diverse and varied offering. You can learn and explore just about anything... And we want to help you do just that!
We see ourselves as a platform where culture—spanning the fields of art, theater, music, continuing education, languages, dance, and relaxation—is shared and developed.
Our socially critical tutorials focus on various topics—critiques of capitalism, feminism, cultural issues, or the climate crisis.
Both cultural courses and tutorials are self-organized seminars where students and non-students come together to learn from one another, moving away from the pursuit of credit hours and a culture of competition. These offerings run throughout the semester.
The courses are offered by both professionally trained experts and students who have a special skill or enjoy discussing topics and spending time together.
Planning for our program for the Winter Semester 26/27 is already in full swing!
Starting at the end of the month, you’ll be able to sign up for the free courses and tutorials.
Here’s a little sneak peek to give you an idea of what to expect:
- Cultural courses: various dances (from salsa to hip-hop), other sports activities (from self-defense to yoga), theater, language courses (Arabic & Spanish), drawing, and much more!
- Tutorials: short films, philosophy (Simone Weil), culture (tea, books, creative writing), Marxism, a critical look at the education system, and more!
