How do I register for a course on this page?!
It's not difficult at all. Go to the tab ‘Cultural courses’ or ‘Socio-critical tutorials’, select your course there and a button for registration will appear. In the following window, simply enter your name, an email address, how many registrations you are making and that's it. The rest is automated. No registration is necessary for the ‘socially critical tutorials’, but it is desirable to get an overview. Courses marked as free of charge will take place in any case. Courses for which the number of participants is significantly below the target number may be cancelled and then not take place. Fees or similar will of course be refunded.
I have registered for a course but have not yet received a confirmation email!
If you do not receive a confirmation shortly after registration, we apologise. This is not because the course is full or you are not registered, but simply because we have to confirm each enrolment individually. In some cases, however, it may also be because we are still in consultation with the course organisers and there are therefore delays. We apologise for this.
The flyer said that some courses are free. However, the email said that I should transfer €30!
Some courses are offered free of charge. The email is automatically generated and always includes the bank transfer details. If your course is offered free of charge, you can simply ignore the account details.
My course that I want to attend and is on the flyer cannot be found on the site! I cannot register!
In some cases, courses may be removed from the website for a short time for revision purposes, but will soon be available again for registration. Please check the website again later. Should there still be difficulties here, simply write to us at kulturkurs@asta.uni-hamburg.de
The times and dates on the flyer are different to those on the website!
It may be that a course with different times has to be offered at short notice. We apologise if this is the case, but the homepage always shows the most up-to-date information!
Strangely enough, only the University of Hamburg is listed as a room! What is that! Where does the course take place?
As the rooms have to be booked individually and we only have one course room available in its entirety, but some courses overlap in time, we have to book additional rooms. We are currently still in consultation with the university about this. However, the courses will definitely take place and the rooms will be added when you click on the courses under ‘Description’.
Can I deregister from courses, do I then have to pay fees?
Yes, you can, but please cancel in good time! To do this, send an email to kulturkurs@asta.uni-hamburg.de. Paid fees will be refunded at the end of the semester if you cancel before (!) the first course date. We will send you a confirmation email.
After that, we must assume that you will be attending the course and cancellation with a refund is no longer possible.
Is there any way I can get a confirmation of attendance? (for CV, application, ...)

How do I contact my course instructor?
Dear course participant,
You can find the email contact details for your course instructor by clicking on the course on the homepage (www.kulturkursprogramm.de) under the course description in bold at the bottom.
If you as a course participant receive emails from your course instructor via the Edoobox system, you will not be able to reach your course instructor if you reply to these emails! (The sender is therefore also called ‘noreply@edoobox-mail.com’) These mails are received by us as AStA and do not reach your course leader! We cannot forward them because of the volume. So send your course leaders an e-mail to the e-mail addresses given on the homepage!
