Cultural courses

The cultural courses are events organised mainly by students in various cultural areas. They are intended to enable all students to express, engage and develop themselves culturally beyond the mainstream.

Participation in the cultural courses usually costs €35 (only €30 if paid early; free for refugees) and is open to everyone (there are a few free cultural courses). Registration is always possible from the beginning of the semester. The courses usually start two weeks after the start of lectures in the respective semester.

Cultural courses also in presence!

Just as university seminars and lectures are once again taking place in person at the university, cultural courses are also returning to campus. However, some courses can still be held as online events; information on this can be found in the course descriptions.

You will find face-to-face courses clearly marked in the title: By ‘PRESENCE’ and our participation concept ‘2G’ (more details under the course descriptions).

Where do the cultural courses take place?

The vast majority of cultural courses take place at Universität Hamburg. The rooms will soon be listed in the description of the cultural courses. We are still waiting for room confirmations, so please be patient!
