shofie (they/them) is a Black nonbinary artist-activist based in Heidelberg. their art orients towards interventions through ecological necromancy, influenced by Indigenous Balinese ceremonial praxis and queer Black Feminist prophetic tradition. they are commissioned to perform their poetry in racial justice demonstrations and climate strikes in Heidelberg. shofie leads a queer support group and facilitates various workshops on antiracism, safe(r) spaces and intersectionality. they are currently thinking of and caring about riverbanks.

[ENGLISH]
Discrimination also takes place within queer spaces: In particular, racialized, trans, inter, non-binary racialized people who experience several forms of discrimination at the same time so-called intersectionally affected people are impacted.
How can we show solidarity with people who, in our (queer) spaces, not only experience discrimination from the majority society, but even from parts of the queer community? How can we be so-called "allies"? We want to learn that in a lecture by and with shofie with a focus on nonbinary people.
TW: Everyone can participate. However, this event is not a safer space for people from the TIN community, because in spaces with a majority of cis people there can be overbearing questions/behaviors.
