Together against child abuse

 Viola is an initiative of the bvmd (Federal Representation of Medical Students in Germany), which is committed to a sound education around the topic of child abuse.

Our goal is to provide information and training on dealing with possible child welfare risks in the medical field as well as to support projects of other specialist departments on the subject of child protection.

Who can participate?

Anyone who wants to advocate for child protection in healthcare. You don't have to be a medical student to do that.

 

What do we do?

• Workshops & training
• Expert lectures (e.g. from pediatrics & child protection medicine)
• Discussion sessions (current Mondays at 16:30)
• Networking with other projects and groups (e.g. position papers)
