The third issue of „New critique“ is there!

The third issue of our student magazine is finally here! Long awaited, it is finally available!

After the first issues examined the role of the university in capitalism and analyzed the relationship between the psyche and society, this issue deals with criticism of imperialism and anti-imperialism.

As we go to press, we look back on almost a year of war in Ukraine, in which thousands of people were killed and many more were injured or had to flee. We have all followed the personal stories of suffering in the war in the media. We are trying to do justice to this immense suffering by looking beyond it analytically. On the one hand, this is done in the collected texts by theoretically highlighting the causes of war. On the other hand, the texts criticize various ideological views on wars and imperialism.

Many different students look at the topic from different, system-critical perspectives.

How do you get a copy?

1) To receive a printed edition, you are welcome to contact us by sending an e-mail to: new.critique"AT"asta.uni-hamburg.de. We will then send you your edition free of charge! If you send us your address details, we will only use them to send you the newspaper and will delete them afterwards.
