Announcement regarding the election of the Office for International Students (RiS) term 2026/27

The Office for International Students (Referat für internationale Studierende, RiS) will be newly elected for the 2026/2027 term of office. The election is preceded by an electoral assembly, which will take place on Friday, 13 November 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Room 221 in the ESA West building. The provisional agenda includes the following items:

Formalities
Explanation of the election procedure
Appointment of an election committee
Introduction of the candidates
Any other business
Candidacies for the RiS can be submitted to the Presidium of the Student Parliament or to the General Students’ Committee (AStA) until the end of agenda item 1. Nominations must include the names, student ID numbers, addresses and signatures of the candidates and can only be submitted in paper form.

The election itself will take place from 16 to 18 November 2026. Votes can be cast on all three days between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The election is conducted in accordance with the Electoral Regulations of the Semi-Autonomous Office for International Students (Wahlordnung des teilautonomen Referats für internationale Studierende) as amended on 22 October 2026.
