12 October 2026
Dance, language, theater, relaxation—the program of cultural courses and socially critical tutorials offered by the University of Hamburg’s AStA once again features a diverse range of courses for all students this semester. Sign up now!
Whether it’s salsa, hip-hop, or Bolivian dances—if you’re interested in trying your hand at dancing, you’ll find something here. The program also includes self-defense, theater, and yoga. For language enthusiasts, there are beginner courses in Arabic and Spanish.
Our socially critical tutorials also invite you to reflect on current conditions. Here, the material is scrutinized and critically analyzed. The seminars address topics such as the education system, critiques of capitalism, and the analysis of social power structures. There’s even a feminist book club!
What makes us special: The courses are primarily organized and led by students. This creates a relaxed, peer-to-peer atmosphere and a wide, creative range of offerings.
The courses are open to all students at the University of Hamburg. Prior knowledge is generally not required. Secure your spot in your favorite course now!
The registration deadline for most courses is Saturday, October 17, 2026.
