Solidarity creates humane conditions. The focus is on overcoming social inequality. At present: movement and education for a peaceful (!), social, democratic and ecological turnaround instead of armament and freezing.

Universities have a key function for the mentalities of every society. We are therefore fighting for socially open universities (also: BAföG for all, rent caps etc.) and their good state funding. It is about social progress, critical science, internationalism and an enlightened culture as the food of true democracy.

We are active in student councils, committees and alliances: for presence, social development, disarmament, peace-building and for a politics of remembrance that gives hope (‘8 May’, ‘Rename Sedan Street’).

We are a left-wing social democratic university group - critical in the trade union and SPD, with the Falken and the Jusos.

In the Academic Senate (AS), we are active in the ‘Alliance for Enlightenment and Emancipation! (BAE!)": www.bae-hamburg.de
