We are the AStA’s voice, both internally and externally!

Our mission is to keep you up to date on everything important, to highlight the AStA’s political work, and to make sure you know what’s happening on campus and behind the scenes.

Whether through social media, our website, the newsletter, or in person: We bring the information to you.

Our main responsibilities & current projects:

• Digital Communication & Social Media: We manage the AStA’s official Instagram account. From Stories and Reels to Sharepics, we keep you up to date on deadlines, events, and university policy issues.
• Website & Newsletter: We regularly maintain and update our AStA website with the most important news and information about the university campus. To make it accessible to as many students as possible, our website is bilingual, available in both German and English. We also publish a monthly newsletter that keeps you informed about exciting events, important demonstrations, and opportunities to get involved.
• Campaigns & Political Work: We closely support the AStA’s political working groups through our press and public relations efforts. Whether it’s the campaign against budget cuts or the University Action Day, we draft statements, respond to press inquiries, and raise awareness for student interests.
• Campus Presence: We organize AStA information booths at events like “Hallo Erstis” or the Campus Festival to engage directly with you. We also put a lot of effort into planning the freshman goodie bags for the start of your semester and into publications like our restroom newspaper, the “Stilles Wörtchen.”
• Events & Culture: In addition to our standard informational work, we also pitch in with larger AStA projects—whether it’s planning the job fair afterparty, a winter market, or managing social media for our events.
