University policy
The Office for Higher Education Policy focuses on the core mission of student representation: better study conditions for everyone. We are active wherever decisions about the university’s future are made—in the committees of academic and student self-governance—and we ensure that student interests are taken into account in these decisions.
Our approach: Organizing together.
We network with student councils, independent student spaces, and other student groups to plan and implement projects together.
To this end, we organize the Student Council Network (FSRV) and the Independent Student Space Network (FRV).
We critically examine budget cuts at the university, network with initiatives and coalitions, and fight for adequate funding for the university so that good study conditions do not fall victim to austerity measures. Furthermore, we plan and organize the AStA Welcome Week at the start of your studies.
Feel free to come to us with your concerns: whether you have questions about committees and student representation, ideas for joint projects in your department, worries about budget cuts, or simply a desire to get involved in university politics.
