The university is integrated into a social framework which is characterized by racism, sexism and other forms of oppression and discrimination. These often have a disadvantageous effect on the everyday life of students. The possibilities for action of those affected at first seem very limited, for example through existing dependencies on teaching staff.
We are a team of three students and offer you an independent contact point where you can report any discrimination in the university context against yourself or against third parties. Accordingly, you can also turn to us as a witness in a discriminatory incident.
You can either use the e-mail address provided or the form below. The data provided will of course be treated confidentially.
We can then get in touch with you to discuss further options for action. We can also put you in touch with further offers and contact persons outside the university. Your needs are our top priority, which means that we will only take further action in consultation with you!
If you have specific legal questions, the AStA also offers legal advice in various areas. Via PIASTA you also have the possibility to seek legal advice that is specifically aimed at international students. If you wish for support or guidance, you can of course contact us first.
We are always open to suggestions and wishes and are happy to receive new ideas! You can reach the department at antidiskriminierung"AT"asta.uni-hamburg.de
